The Wayfarer Hotel transformed the historic Ritz Milner Hotel, built in 1923, into a boutique property in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. The 12 story building's original 180 rooms were reconfigured into 156 private and shared rooms, alongside communal amenities including a rooftop bar, basement lounge and a public restaurant and bar.

As Senior Project Engineer, I lead project startup, liquidation and assisted with managing demolition of the floor plates and interior design submittals. It is always rewarding to contribute to a renovation that preserves a building's century old character while bringing it fully up to date for modern hospitality use.
